A passion project
HomeWood Vineyard is a passion project born from Alberto and Emmet’s love for wine and their desire to delve deeply into the art of winemaking. Situated in the countryside of Somerset, the vineyard is committed to crafting a limited number of exceptional sparkling, white, rosé, and red wines. Blending tradition with innovation, HomeWood is pioneering the pro duction of red wine from Pinot Kors, a first for the region.
The Beginning of a Journey
The project began in 2024 with expert guidance to select the ideal grape varieties and design a sustainable vineyard layout. Planting is set for 2025, with the first harvest expected in 2028 and the release of the inaugural vintage in 2030. Each step of the journey is guided by a commitment to excellence and a vision of creating wines that inspire and delight.

About the team
HomeWood Vineyard is the creation of two couples united by a shared love of nature, wine, and community. Together they bring a rich blend of creativity, dedication, and warmth to every part of the vineyard — from the soil beneath the vines to the experience guests will receive.
Deborah & Emmet
Living on site, Emmet and Deborah are deeply connected to the land and oversee the vineyard’s daily operations. Emmet brings a strategic, people-focused approach shaped by his background in entrepreneurship, venture capital, community building and the founding of a wellbeing foundation. Deborah, with her keen eye for design and attention to detail, helps shape the vineyard’s aesthetic and atmosphere. Together, they ensure that every choice reflects HomeWood’s values and long-term vision.
